This Privacy Policy explains how TapTrail: Logic Puzzle ("TapTrail," "the app," "we," "us") handles information when you use the app. TapTrail is developed by Bennek Nirmal ("we," "us," "the developer").
We built TapTrail to be a simple, offline-friendly puzzle game, and we've kept data collection to the minimum needed to make the app work.
Information we collect
TapTrail itself does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking software of any kind. The only data collection in the app comes from our subscription provider, RevenueCat, which we use to manage the optional Pro upgrade.
Through RevenueCat, the following information is collected:
- User ID - an identifier used to recognize your account and keep your Pro status in sync.
- Device ID - used to associate your purchase with your device and restore purchases correctly.
- Purchase history - records of any Pro purchases or subscriptions, used to verify and manage your entitlements.
This information is used strictly for app functionality - authenticating your account, enabling the features you've paid for, restoring purchases, and preventing fraud. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or personalization, and it is not shared with data brokers or third-party advertising networks.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or microphone.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or show ads in the app.
- We do not use analytics tools to track how you use the app.
- We do not use your data for tracking across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
Third-party services
TapTrail uses RevenueCat to process and manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may process the identifiers and purchase data described above on our behalf. We encourage you to review RevenueCat's own privacy policy for details on how they handle this data.
Payment information, such as your card details, is handled entirely by Apple's App Store and is never accessible to us or to RevenueCat.
Children's privacy
TapTrail is rated 4+ and suitable for a general audience, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information such as names, emails, or contact details from anyone, including children.
Data retention
Purchase and subscription records are retained only as long as needed to manage your entitlements and comply with Apple's App Store requirements.
Your choices
You can restore or manage your subscription at any time through your device's App Store account settings. If you'd like to ask a question about your data, contact us using the details on our Contact page.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of TapTrail after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
